This is just a small amount of history and details I could find on Erwin WaBner. (pictured Left, click to enlarge)

He was one of the most successful u-boat commanders of World War One with 88 ships sunk or captured (135.097 tons) and
5 ships damaged (15.297 tons) in his career.

Notes: Awarded the Pour le Merite for outstanding leadership and distinguished naval planning and successful submarine operations as he sank a total of 86 enemy vessels which amounted to approximately 150.000 BRT.
